Missing
Painting
Mollie Tibbetts was reported missing, and all of America hoped, waited and prayed that she would be found, safe and sound, while the local police and the FBI searched Brooklyn, Iowa, interviewed neighbors and left no stone unturned. This abstract painting was done in alcohol inks on Terra Skin stone paper, which was then mounted on gallery wrapped canvas. Gold foil was used to shine as her life shone, all too briefly. The palette of purple and blue express the grief and deep regret that we feel for Mollie, for her family, fiance, friends and neighbors. It is a sorrow we feel for all missing persons and their families, whose absence is a loss to us all. Hanging hardware not included.
