I was raised as a Navy brat, traveling the world. My formal art training is fairly limited but for a wonderful D.O.D. art teacher in London, Diane Kelly. I’ve always loved sketching but was intimidated by color, didn’t venture into painting until 2006. My first painting “Savannah Anna” placed 2nd in the City’s National Arts Program competition and encouraged me on. I continue to paint from images showing people going about their everyday lives.
A tribute to the children working in the southern oyster industry during the early 1900's. Ceramic oysters, oyster knife and shucking bucket with images of children.
