The Thin White Duke
Works on Paper
I find David Bowie fascinating. I remember seeing cassettes of his music at the Navy Exchange in Long Beach, CA right before he re-emerged with "Let's Dance." All of the tapes were in the bargain bin. I saw his face, and picked up each copy of what was available. I had never heard of him, and I never enjoyed "Let's Dance." I still enjoy the old Bowie even though theorhetically it was not my era.
The work is soft pastel and it is on textured paper.
