Phyllis Hewitt

Phyllis Zitarelli Hewitt, a graduate of Moore College of Art in Philadelphia, studied portraiture at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts and the University of the Arts. She has participated in master painting classes taught by Nelson Shanks and Arthur De Costa. In addition, she has a M.Ed degree from West Chester University.

Phyllis has taught art in the public schools of Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Georgia. She also has been a painting instructor at the Perkins Center for the Arts in Moorestown, NJ and the Markeim Art Center in Haddonfield, NJ. She currently teaches painting in Audubon, NJ.
