Kassie Huhtanen

To Kassie, art remains both a personal journey and an evolutionary process which allows for the opportunity to grow and reach beyond one’s perceived limitations and weaknesses. She feels strongly about the underlying theme of inclusiveness in her work and contends that art related venues are a vehicle which facilitates positive change while also serving to enhance constructive communication. As she sees it, the objective of art is to promote good will that serves to foster a sense of community while also assisting individuals in developing a deeper respect and awareness for that which surrounds each one of us.
