Complete this entry form to participate in the 25th Annual Exhibit of The National Arts Program for the City of Cleveland. There is no fee to enter the program.

Eligibility
  • Participants must be an employee of the City of Cleveland, a retiree of the City of Cleveland, a family member of an employee/retiree, or a City of Cleveland resident. Proof of residency is required to enter the exhibition.
  • Only one entry per artist will be admitted.
  • All entries submitted must be the original work (no collaborations) of the applicant completed within the last three years and not previously submitted.
  • Artwork will be judged in the classification of the artist’s selection; however, in some cases, the exhibition judges will make the final determination. Artists may only enter in one classification.
  • The National Arts Program and the City of Cleveland reserve the right to disqualify any entries they consider to be unacceptable or inappropriate for a public exhibit.

  • Entrants may submit only entries which fit into the listed medium categories.
  • All artwork will need an NAP identification label placed on the back (provided at drop off).
  • All 2-dimensional entries should be matted, framed and/or ready to hang with wire securely on the back.
  • All work must measure no more than 48” in any direction or weigh more than 50lbs unless otherwise stipulated.
  • Artwork that does not meet size limitations or specifications will be disqualified before judging.

Rules of Exhibit
  • Deadline This Registration Form must be received no later than Wednesday, March 11, 2026.
  • Delivering Entries All entries must be delivered to Cudell Fine Arts, 10013 Detroit Avenue, Cleveland, OH 44102, on Thursday, March 12 or Friday, March 13, 2026 between 12:00pm-7:00pm both days.
  • Reception & Awards A reception and presentation of awards will be held at Cudell Fine Arts on Friday, March 27, 2026 from 1:00pm-7:00pm with the award ceremony beginning at 6:00pm.
    • Prizes will be awarded by classification:
      • Adult (Amateur, Intermediate and Professional): 3 - First Place Awards of $350; 3 - Second Place Awards of $250; and 3 - Third Place Awards of $150
      • Youth / Teen (over age 7) 2 - First Place Awards of $150; 2- Second Place Awards of $100; and 2 - Third Place Awards of $50
      • Youth 7 & Under 1-First Place Award; 1-Second Place Award; 1-Third Place Award
      • Best of Show Award of $400
      • Art Education Award of $200
      • Adult Special Pop 1-First Place Award; 1-Second Place Award; and 1-Third Place Award
    • Honorable Mention Ribbons will be awarded at the discretion of the judges.
    • Awards are limited to one cash award per artist per classification.
  • Public Exhibit The exhibit is free and will be open to the public from March 27, 2026 through April 24, 2026 during open gallery hours.
  • Retrieving Entries Each artist is responsible for retrieving their artwork from Cudell Fine Arts, 10013 Detriot Ave. Cleveland, OH 44102, from Monday, April 27 through Friday, May 1, 2026 between the hours of 12:00pm-7:00pm each day. No work is to be removed prior to the end of the exhibition. Neither Cudell Fine Arts, the City of Cleveland nor the National Arts Program will be responsible for unclaimed works.
  • Liability Every attempt will be made to preserve, secure and protect each entry submitted; but neither the National Arts Program, Cudell Fine Arts nor the City of Cleveland can be held responsible for damages, loss of art entries, or changes/cancellation of this exhibit due to low participation or unforeseen circumstances. The National Arts Program and the City of Cleveland reserve the right to disqualify entries they consider to be unacceptable or inappropriate for a public exhibit. The placing of art in the exhibition constitutes an agreement on the part of the entrant with conditions herein set forth.  The National Arts Program and Cudell Fine Arts reserve the right to publish for publicity purposes reproductions of the entries.  The National Arts Program in the City of Cleveland is a public exhibit and photographing/filming of the exhibit is encouraged.
