Complete this entry form to participate in the 2nd Annual Exhibit of The National Arts Program for Maimonides Medical Center employees, volunteers, interns, residents, fellows and immediate family members of employees. There is no fee to enter the program.

Your registration is not complete until you have clicked the ‘submit registration’ button and receive an automated confirmation email.

Eligibility
  • Participants must be an employee, volunteer, intern, resident, fellow or an immediate family member of an employee of Maimonides Medical Center, NY.
  • Only 2 entries per artist will be admitted.
  • All entries submitted must be the original work of the applicant completed within the last three years and not previously submitted.
  • Artwork will be judged in the classification of the artist’s selection; however, in some cases, the exhibition judges will make the final determination.
  • The National Arts Program and Maimonides Medical Center reserve the right to disqualify any entries they consider to be unacceptable or inappropriate for this public exhibit.

Entries
  • Entrants may submit only two entries that fit into the listed medium categories.
  • All artwork will need an NAP identification label placed on the back (provided at drop off).
  • All 2-dimensional entries should be matted, framed and/or ready to hang with wire securely attached to the back.
  • All 3-dimensional entries must measure no more than 15" in any direction or weigh more than 40 pounds unless otherwise stipulated.
  • All 2-dimensional work must measure no more than 36” in any direction or weigh more than 40 pounds unless otherwise stipulated.
  • Artwork that does not meet size limitations or specifications will be disqualified before judging.

First Entry

Rules of Exhibit
  • Deadline This Registration Form must be received no later than March 13, 2026 to participate in this exhibit.
  • Delivering Entries  Employees must drop off artwork at the Hospital Main Lobby on Wednesday, March 18th or Thursday, March 19th from 7:00am-2:30pm both days.
  • Reception & Awards A reception and presentation of awards will be held in the Hospital Main Lobby on March 25, 2026 beginning at 4:00pm.
    • Prizes will be awarded by classification:
      • Adult (Amateur, Intermediate and Professional): 3 - First Place Awards of $350; 3 - Second Place Awards of $250; and 3 - Third Place Awards of $150
      • Best of Show Award of $400
      • Youth / Teen : 2 - First Place Awards of $150; 2- Second Place Awards of $100; and 2 - Third Place Awards of $50
      • Art Education Award of $200
      • Additional awards including Honorable Mentions will be awarded at the discretion of the judges.
      • Awards are limited to one cash award per artist per classification.
  • Public Exhibit The exhibit is free and will be open to the public from March 25, 2026 - April 24, 2026. The exhibit is located in the main lobby of Maimonides Medical Center, 4802 10th Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11219.
  • Retrieving Entries Each artist is responsible for retrieving their artwork their from the hospital main lobby, 4802 10th Avenue, between the hours of 7:00am - 2:30pm from April 27-28, 2026. No work is to be removed prior to the end of the exhibition. Neither Maimonides Medical Center nor the National Arts Program will be responsible for unclaimed works.
  • Liability Every attempt will be made to preserve, secure and protect each entry submitted; but neither the National Arts Program nor Medical Center can be held responsible for damages, loss of art entries, or changes/cancellation of this exhibit due to low participation or any other unforeseen circumstances. The National Arts Program and Maimonides Medical Center reserve the right to disqualify any entries they consider to be unacceptable or inappropriate for this public exhibit. The placing of art in the exhibition constitutes an agreement on the part of the entrant with conditions herein set forth. The National Arts Program and Maimonides Medical Center reserve the right to publish for publicity purposes reproductions of the entries. The National Arts Program at Maimonides Medical Center, NY is a public exhibit and photographing/filming of the exhibit is encouraged.
