Complete this entry form and upload an image to participate in the 15th Annual Exhibit of The National Arts Program for State of Delaware employees and their immediate family members. There is no fee to enter the program.

Eligibility
  • Participants must be a benefit-eligible employee or a family member of an employee of the State of Delaware.
  • Only one entry per artist will be admitted.
  • All entries submitted must be the original work of the applicant completed within the last three years and not previously submitted.
  • The National Arts Program and the Delaware Division of the Arts reserve the right to disqualify any entries they consider to be unacceptable or inappropriate for a public exhibit.

  • Entrants may submit only entries which fit into the listed medium categories.
  • All artwork will need an NAP identification label placed on the back (provided at drop off).
  • All 2-dimensional entries should be matted, framed and ready to hang with wire securely on the back.
  • All work must measure no more than 40” in any direction or weigh more than 40lbs unless otherwise stipulated.
  • Artwork that does not meet size limitations will not be accepted in the exhibit.

Rules of Exhibit
  • Deadline This Registration Form must be received no later than Monday, January 26, 2026.
  • Delivering Entries All entries must be delivered to Delaware State University Arts Center/Gallery, Dover, DE from February 9 - 14, 2026 during the following time frames; Monday, Wednesday, Friday 9am-5pm; Tuesday, Thursday 11am-6pm and Saturday 12-4pm.
  • Reception & Awards A reception and presentation of awards will be held at Delaware State University Arts Center/Gallery on Sunday, March 8, 2026 from 12pm - 4pm.
    • Prizes will be awarded by classification:
      • Adult (Amateur, Intermediate and Professional): 3 - First Place Awards of $350; 3 - Second Place Awards of $250; and 3 - Third Place Awards of $150
      • Youth / Teen : 2 - First Place Awards of $150; 2- Second Place Awards of $100; and 2 - Third Place Awards of $50
      • Best of Show Award of $400
      • Art Education Award of $200
    • Honorable Mention Ribbons will be awarded at the discretion of the judges.
    • Awards are limited to one cash award per artist per classification.
  • Public Exhibit The exhibit is free and will be open to the public from February 23 - March 20, 2026 during Art Center/Gallery hours.
  • Retrieving Entries Each artist is responsible for retrieving their artwork from Delaware State University, Arts Center/Gallery Dover, DE from Monday, March 23 through Saturday, March 28 or on Tuesday, March 31, 2026 during the following time frames; Monday, Wednesday, Friday 9am-5pm; Tuesday, Thursday 11am-6pm and Saturday 12-4pm. No work is to be removed prior to the end of the exhibition. Neither the State of Delaware, the Delaware Division of the Arts nor the National Arts Program will be responsible for unclaimed works.
  • Liability Every attempt will be made to preserve, secure and protect each entry submitted; but neither the National Arts Program, Delaware Division of the Arts nor the State of Delaware can be held responsible for damages, loss of art entries, or changes/cancellation of this exhibit due to low participation or any unforeseen circumstances. The National Arts Program and the Delaware Division of the Arts reserve the right to disqualify any entries they consider to be unacceptable or inappropriate for a public exhibit. The placing of art in the exhibition constitutes an agreement on the part of the entrant with conditions herein set forth. The National Arts Program and Delaware Division of the Arts reserve the right to publish for publicity purposes reproductions of the entries.  The National Arts Program in the State of Delaware is a public exhibit and photographing/filming of the exhibit is encouraged.
