"Animal Vegetable Mineral, Part 11" is a large 18" x 24" painting created by soaking portions of a sheet of watercolor paper with clear water and then "bombing" the watery trail with drops of India ink, creating an instant and dramatic explosion of the black ink throughout the wet places. Afterward, when dry, colored pencil and acrylic paint are added for subtle highlights. Painted in February of 2026.
