"The Dead Sea"

"The Dead Sea" is an impression of what the oceans may become if neglected and ruined by man's destruction of our last frontier. The painting is very large and was done by creating clear puddles of water on watercolor paper and then "bombing" them with drops of India ink which amazingly spreads thorough the watery shape instantly. Then I take a fine-tipped paintbrush and fan the inky water into a fishlike shape, working very quickly as the ink dries within a minute.
