"Falling Up"

"Falling Up" is an abstract painting done by creating a puddle of clear water on my watercolor paper that I shape with a squeegee sponge brush into a nebulous, curved form.
Next, I carefully "bomb" the puddle with droplets of India ink which instantly spreads across the watery form with lightning speed. After that, I use a fine tipped paintbrush to make finny extensions, etc., to the shape.
