Professional Experience for Participants in Indianapolis
Indianapolis, IN celebrated their Fifth Anniversary with another beautifully displayed exhibition of artwork from city employees and their family members. The exhibition was once again installed at the Garfield Park Arts Center. This venue not only provides a professional atmosphere for the show, but gives the participants the experience of having their artwork hung in an art gallery setting.
Participating Artist Entertains Awards Reception Guests in Manchester
The seventh annual NAP Exhibit in the City of Manchester opened on July 6th this year and filled the city hall gallery with wonderful art creations from city workers and their families, retirees and school district employees. Mayor Ted Gatsas, a true supporter of the show, attended the July 26th reception and posed with the artists after the awards were given out. Manchester’s reception is always a fun filled and well attended event and this year was no different.
Children's Hospital of Michigan President Attends NAP Reception
Grace Serra, who is the Art Advisor for the Children's Hospital of Michigan Healing Arts Program, was once again coordinator for their annual National Arts Program® Exhibition. This was their sixth annual show and it opened on March 5th displaying artworks throughout the halls of the hospital for all to enjoy. Hospital President, Herman Gray attended the June 25th closing awards reception and presented winners with their prizes. Grace said that this year’s show was a good mix of past artists taking part again and new artists joining in for the very first time.
