State of Delaware Showcases Award Winners Online
Sponsored by The National Arts Program Foundation in support and cooperation with the State of Delaware and the Delaware Division of the Arts, this exhibit was judged by professional artists and visual art professionals in Amateur, Intermediate, Professional and Youth classifications.

COURT HOUSE – Freeholder E. Marie Hayes announced that the county is seeking artists to participate in an upcoming event. The Cape May County Culture and Heritage Commission will host its 12th Annual Exhibit and Contest of The National Arts Program® (NAP) at the Middle Township Performing Arts Center (PAC) Gallery from April 16 to May 8.
Freeholder Hayes said, “This free art competition is open to all local, county, state and federal government employees and their immediate families.

National Arts Program showcases works of local public employees

The city of Portland, Portland Public Schools and Portland Public Library employees and their families will showcase their artwork on the walls of City Hall as a part of the seventh annual Exhibit and Awards of the National Arts Program, with an opening Friday at an artist's reception at 6:30 p.m.
Members of the public are invited to visit City Hall to view the art on display March 1 through March 15, Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Local Media Piece Showcases The NAP in Charlotte-Mecklenburg, NC
Works from 142 artists were beautifully displayed throughout the grand lobby of the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Government Center. Danee McGee, first time coordinator, did a great job of carrying on their always well executed show. The NAP exhibit seems to bring forth a more interesting collection of works each and every year. As usual the show had media coverage and the following video does a wonderful job of highlighting some of the interesting back stories on the art and artists in this year’s exhibition...take a look:

Another Wonderful Year for Hartford, CT
Hartford, Connecticut held its 22nd Annual NAP Exhibit from January 21st through February 5th this year. They are one of our longest standing venues and always produce a wonderful exhibition, with terrific participation, and this year was no exception. There were 278 pieces hung in the 1st and 11th floor galleries of the Capital Community Center.

Gaston Day sophomore wins honors in National Arts Program®
Jewel Wasson, a sophomore at Gaston Day School sophomore, won honors for two pieces she submitted in the National Arts Program competition in Charlotte.

National Arts Program® Honors Local Talent - Hartford Courant
More than 400 people came to Capital Community College's Centinal Hill Hall auditorium on Jan. 26 to celebrate the winning artists in several categories featured in the 22nd annual CRT National Arts Program®. Approximately 300 visual works of art from paintings to sculptures and mixed media works were submitted from residents of all ages from Hartford and Middlesex Counties.

Submissions Sought for Employee Art Show, Deadline to Enter is March 1
Employees planning to enter their pieces in the "On Our Own Time" employee art show should register by March 1. And there's an extra incentive this year: Cash prizes won't be offered unless at least 100 people participate.
This is the third year that the Staff Advisory Council, which puts on the event, has been the recipient of a grant from the National Arts Program, which enables the group to give monetary awards to the show's winners.
Last year's show had fewer than the required 100 participants, and money was given anyway.
