Keeping the Show Fresh in New Orleans

Close to 100 participants registered for the New Orleans, LA National Arts Program® and the quality and the enthusiasm was high. The exhibit brightens up City Hall as the entries are hung the entire length of the lobby. Slight rule changes for this year’s show implemented flat backed and lighter entries due to the wall conditions in City Hall and provided positive outcomes.

The November 16th reception was well attended. With the event moved to the lobby, it allowed for a more informal setting and mingling of the attendees with the artwork.

It is their best show yet with over 200 artworks beautifully displayed in a bustling area of the airport. With so much exposure and being treated to such a wonderful reception, it is no wonder that the artists are so thrilled to participate.
