A winning painting in the recently opened Camden County, NJ NAP show was featured in the online newspaper mycentraljersey.com.

Mayor C. Ray Nagin proudly introduced the National Arts Program in New Orleans for the Fifth time.

The fifth show for the City of New Orleans once again reflects this cities determination and courage. The Honorable Mayor Ray Nagin was the Master of Ceremonies, handing out awards to the winners. Mayor Nagin commented on the vast talent within the city and how he had been looking at the artwork on display the entire previous week. In addition to the standard awards, they also give out a Mayor’s Choice Award chosen by the mayor himself. This year’s Mayor’s Choice winner did an entire piece out of paint color strips that you receive at a paint store.

Austin, TX closed their Seventh Annual NAP show with their awards reception hed on January 15th.

Sandra Turner Barnes of  Camden County last year decided to revamp the NAP program and the results were outstanding! Opening the exhibition to the residents of Camden County and moving the exhibit back to its original location tripled the response from artists this year.

National Arts Program partners with Art in City Hall on the 10^th Annual NAP exhibit in Philadelphia.  The reception starts at 5pm tonight with Mayor Nutter scheduled to speak. The exhibition will hang in City Hall through February 19, 2010. Please stop by and see the wonderful artwork on display!

Johns Hopkins Hospital opened its second annual employee show at the Turner concourse of the hospital. Over 300 pieces are displayed from employees throughout the hallways.

The City of Raleigh / Wake County, NC opens their Seventh Annual NAP exhibition on Thursday, December 3rd.

Santa Maria, CA is the newest venue for The National Arts Program®.

University of Chicago Medical Center, IL fills it’s hallways with artwork from interns, physicians, nurses, and administrators. The connector breezeway has once again been transformed with over 100 pieces of employee artwork lining the walls.

The Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium (ANTHC) opens their Second NAP exhibition in Anchorage, AK with a new coordinator and a number of new participants.
