Eighth Year for Orlando, FL
On June 13th the 8th Annual National Arts Program® in the City of Orlando opened and included 120 artworks from 87 artists. The exhibit, titled "Orlando City Artworks: art by those who serve" has become a wonderful tradition for the employees and their families. Every year an amazing collection of visual artwork is hung in the Orlando City Hall Terrace Gallery.

Jurors get involved in the Los Angeles Superior Court, CA Show
This was the Los Angeles Superior Court’s Ninth Annual National Arts Program® Exhibit and once again the show was displayed throughout the Stanley Mosk Courthouse. Over 5000 people were invited to participate in this annual exhibit and each year it produces a tremendous collection of works from the employees and their family members.
NAP Welcomes Renown Health, NV
More than 85 employees and their family members participated in the First Annual NAP Exhibition for Renown Regional Medical Center in Nevada. Not only did first time Coordinator Annie Zucker do a fabulous job organizing and displaying the 131 pieces of artwork throughout the hospital, she is already thinking about next year’s program. Annie stated her goal is to have more than 200 pieces on display for their 2012 exhibition.

LYNX employees in Orlando fill TranspARTation Gallery
LYNX, the Orlando public transportation authority once again hosted employees artwork in the TranspARTation Gallery. Debbe King hung close to 90 pieces of art from transportation workers and their family members for the month of October. One family had 3 winner in three different categories. CEO John M Lewis attended a reception for the particpants and presented awards to the winners. He was impressed with the quality and the diverse group of different departments represented in the show.

New Layout Revealed for NAP Website
The website continues to be the face of the National Arts Program® to our participants, coordinators and the public alike. It is an ongoing process and a passion of ours, to keep it fresh, engaging and relevant. The new homepage design was introduced October 5th and highlights some of our most popular features.
National Arts Program® Adds Featured Video
The National Arts Program® website recently refreshed their home page once again. This allows the NAP to feature videos provided by some of our venues and/or interviews with various artists and coordinators. This new addition to the website adds another valuable tool for artist to get more exposure and the opportunity for the NAP to highlight some of our venues and participants.
You can also now see a snapshot of the online gallery on the homepage as well as direct links to the monthly online newsletter sNAPshot.
